Conservative Treatment Options

As a surgical practice, the expectation for most patients is that we will immediately offer surgery to treat your symptoms.  This could not be further from the truth. While there are some spinal conditions that do require surgical intervention before considering conservative treatment, these are the exception to the rule.  Most common ailments such as neck pain, back pain and often pain in the arms or legs from ruptured (slipped) discs can be successfully treated using conservative methods including:

  • Physical therapy

  • Chiropractic therapy

  • Aquatic therapy

  • Massage therapy

  • TENS unit

  • Lumbar brace

  • Holistic medicine

  • Other non-invasive treatments
