Daniel W. Moore, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Daniel W. Moore was born in Hampton, VA and raised in Bucks County, PA in a family where two brothers and his father were physicians. His high school education was at The George School, a Quaker institution. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Moore received his neurosurgical training at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Moore is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Moore has been in practice for over 24 years and has a keen interest and talent in all aspects of adult neurosurgery including cranial, spinal, peripheral nerve and pain management procedures. He has been board certified since 1986.
Dr. Moore takes great pride in his conservative outlook towards the surgical experience and actively promotes preventative care and non-surgical treatment plans as an initial step in treating patients with spinal and peripheral nerve problems. Communication is important to Dr. Moore as he believes that optimal patient outcomes occur as a result of the patient's understanding of the disease process and the active participation of the patient in the decision making process.
